Autism Works! How to Be an Autism Confident Employer – April/May 2022

3-part interactive online training course starting Thursday 28th April – book your place through our online form.

Our Autism Works! training will be running again at the end of this month.

Autism Works! How to be an Autism Confident Employer – 3-part online training course via Zoom on:

Thurs 28 April, 1.30-3.15 pm

Thurs 5 May, 1.30-3.00 pm

Thurs 12 May, 1.30-3.00 pm.

This interactive course will be open to a mix of participants from any organisation, limited to 15 participants in total.

About Autism Works! course

The course fee (subsidised by Scottish Government funding) is £95 for the 3x sessions, covering:

  • What is autism?
  • What does an autistic person experience?
  • Autism inclusive work environment, recruitment and adjustments
  • Retention and career progression support
  • What can you do in your role?

Course content has been co-produced with an Advisory Group of work-experienced autistic people. Courses are delivered by 3 experienced trainers who have substantial professional experience in a range of sectors and are themselves autistic. The course is aimed at professionals responsible for managing staff or work environments, or for developing good organisational practice. However, it is suitable for anyone with an interest in inclusive work practices.
