Intowork Supported Employment Services

Intowork currently offers 4 services to help people with disabilities access employment. They are also able to assist local employers by providing access to advice and information regarding the emploment or retention of people with disabilities.

The Intowork West Lothian and Moving Intowork teams both utilise the Supported Employment Model of client support.

Intowork West Lothian
The Intowork West Lothian Team offer a specialist service designed to assist people with significant disabilities (learning, physical, senosry or mental health issues) access open and supported employment.

Moving Intowork
Moving Intowork works with people who have Asperger Syndrome (AS) or an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) in order to support them into mainstream work or assist their progress towards employment.

Job Broker Service
This service is specifically designed to complement the UK government's New Deal for Disabled People (NDDP) Job Broker service. The Job Broker Team works with people with significant disabilities who are in receipt of long-term inactive welfare benefits (primarily Incapacity Benefit and Severe Disability Allowance). The Team provides an adaptable structured support system to enable people to make the transition to employment and sustain it.

Bits and Bobs Scrapstore
Bits and Bobs is a social enterprise that was set up to create jobs for people with disabilities (mainly people with learning disabilities or an acquired brain injury) and to provide a service to the community and the environment.
