Employment Consortium

The Employment Consortium is a group of public and voluntary sector organisations who provide employment support to people with disabilities and other support needs who live in Edinburgh and Midlothian.

Currently a pilot project, the aim is to develop a case management approach to guiding clients through a range of services from Consortium partner agencies. This approach hopes to demonstrate that by working together:

  • waiting times can be reduced
  • clients have more choice
  • clients have access a wider range of services
  • the journey to employment is shortened
  • outcomes are achieved more quickly.
